hi puys i will post the question in sequence.

so here goes the first question

ax + y = 2 and x + ay = 2a , for a 1 has solutions :
(a) a = 0, y = - 2

(b) x = 2, y = 0

(c) x = 0, y = 2

(d) None of these

for a=1..

equation will become same...

so i guess infinite solutions...

hi guys here goes the second question

2. In copying a quadratic equation of the form x^2 + px + q =0, a student wrote the coefficient of x incorrectly and the roots were found to be 3 and 10; another student wrote the same equation but he wrote the constant term incorrectly and thus he found the roots to be 4 and 7. The roots of the correct equation are.
(a) 5,6

(b) 4,6

(c) 4, 5

(d) None of these
