yes you can apply, since u meet all the cut offs. u r not late yet, since u can register till 20th

I am getting the following percentiles in CAT'08

OA : 96.08
VA-RC : 75.13
QA : 98.72
DI : 92.74

Though its meeting the cut-offs for getting calls from MICA, I would like to know if my pathetic score in VA/RC will dampen my chance of conversion during the later stage ?

Hey Aahit,

Deval ma'm had said sometime back on the same thread that CAT is just a gate pass for MICAT and once you get through to MICAT, CAT doesn't hold any relevance. So i don't think you got a reason to worry...

Hi All,

Gave my GMAT yesterday.. I didnt clear the required cutoff of 600+. Scored only 560(Q41, V27). I think my dream for MICA will have to wait for another year...although i have filled up my MICA form long back there is virtually no chance for me this year. As per the rules of GMAT, i will be able take the GMAT only after 31 days.. (ie.13th). Since Feb 10th is the last date for the scores to reach MICA i think i am out of the race...

Anyways i have planned to give CAT, to try for MICA next year.....

All the very best for everyone who have crossed the first hurdle (CAT/GMAT)

P.S: I will be actively particpating in all the discussions to learn more and more about mi MICA...MICA is my dream and i would do whatever i can to get into it...

I was reading through posts from Chuck and Utsav which was very inspiring If you are a MICA fan and if you didnt qualify this year do go through those posts to get some inspiration... Utsav's post is here (All I wanted to Speak about CAT), I could not find chuck's post (will provide the link once i get that from chuck)!

For users who are new to this thread.... Click on the "MICA Complete Reference" link (in my signature) to get some important posts from last year's Deval Mam's - its just a compilation of all important posts from last year's thread :wink1:... it has important info regarding the MICAT, GE/PI.

And yeah i will also start compiling some of the important posts from this year's thread (May be some thing like a Shared Google Doc where we can keep adding important info from this thread as it has already been inundated with profile evaluation posts )...

hey-llo

CAT is the gate keeper. and an entry to MICAT. What you do in MICAT may lead you to GE/PI. So don't worry about your 'pathetic' score.
