U'd be surprised how low the cut-offs of A grade colleges were a few yrs back. I know that mica gives weightage to va score and scoring high in va will surely have its advantages, but to forego the oa cutoff just for an exceptional sectional sounds a bit dicey. i guess only a MICAn can confirm.

I guess this question has been repeated to you a lot of times but still one does not find satisfactory answers
1. What difference it makes to study PGDCM and get placed in BM domain and study PG Marketing in XYZ college and getting placed in BM domain?

2. This time there are no subjective questions this time in MICA admission form? Is there any specific reason to it?

3. Whom do you think are your nearest competitors? (We know MICA is way ahead of anyone else in their field, but definitely not alone)

4. Is MICA looking to increase to no. of seats from 120?

wanted to know if MICA calls on the basis of VA score in cat cause am excellent at that section n my math n di s dicey to b honestn my extra curiicullars hav bin gr8 too so can i expect a call from mica incase i do well in va section in cat n not so well at th odrs!.

For CAT-08 , MICA will shortlist candidates with over all 90 percentile in CAT and with sectional cut off of 50 percentile and above in DI & QA. For verbal comprehension, sectional cut off will be 60 percentile.

GMAT score of 600+ can also be considered in lieu of CAT.

I'm in my final year at college and wish to apply to MICA after a year or two of working. I've been mulling over which would be a more secure/better option- the GMAT or the CAT. I'd settled on the GMAT but then met this ex-MICAn who said that maybe the CAT is given preference, so I should look into it. Is that true? Are people with CAT scores given preference over those with GMAT scores? Please do let me know.

i have a question:
Are the cut-offs final and binding?
meaning, will everyone scoring above the cut-off get a coveted GE PI call??
or is it bound to change as per the results of the applicants?
Also, is the GE/ PI an elimination round, or does MICA follow a point-based evaluation system??
