hi..

jus wanted to know if i have any chance to be eligible for MICAT.. i jus gave my cat and my expected percentile is 90+ maybe even 95 (total score of 116-121)
the problem is that my DI sectional score is very low. i only got a 6 in it..
the other 2 scores are
QA - (30 by ims and 35 by career forum)
VA - 80(both sites)

i had heard MICA considers VA more than the other sections.. my DI score is below 50%ile.. should i still apply for MICA?? do i have a chance?

DI score @ 10.
rest still good enough...
i doubt whether MICA will be gracious enough to accept our scores....:neutral:

whaddya think? what will 10 marks translate to?? will it cross 50? doubtful na?
n an o/a score of 84 wouldnt mean 90 percentile, right?

Just a clarification on the last point....So CAT/GMAT scores doesnt come into picture/act as a criteria once a person gets selected thro MICAT for GE/PI is it?

lemme try n nswr ur way... Nope, its difficult for me...

OK...last year the overall cut off was 89 percentile. So if your friend is in 1st year, chances are she got 89 and not 85. If she is in second year, may be she got 85 as the cut off changes every year.

MICAT comprises of a psychometric test, a section on quant, a section on precise writing and couple of essays.

It will be difficult to accept scores below a certain point... so figure out for yourself.
