Sometime back someone mentioned GK as being a part of MICAT this year. Is that true? There's still confusion because of the difference between last year's sample paper and the call letter which mentions 3 areas that will be tested.

Moving on to some of your queries...

Yes, Psychometric must be completed. Each and every question in it. So please ensure you do that.

We have ensured that paper is not very lengthy and hence you will be able to attempt all.

Normally there are no negative marks.

I am not sure whether or not there will be GK or same pattern as previous year etc... Surprise is a part of normal life. So let's all be prepared for it.

As for numbers... Why not assign one person in each city from among you who will come back after MICAT and report how many turned up in each city ... I will contribute to this by giving actual number that appeared for one of the cities... keep guessing

Not all who clear MICAT come for GE/PI and not all who get final calls take up MICA. So there is always a ray of hope.

i filled an offline form and my number for your information is 1975
So,it does not seem like they are all part of any sequence does it?
And anyways,lets not speculate on this . Will cause more worries,what say ?
Might as well concentrate on what is within our control-like MICAT prep for example

Hi,

Yes, all questions in psychometric are compulsory. but they are not really questions. You just have to ensure that you answer all of them as otherwise the test is not complete.

For all other questions, weightage will be given in the paper. So don't worry.
