very decent score man! sure ur walkin away with a gd/pi call for sure. there r no specifically important areas for interviews. as reet mentioned be aware of the happenings around the world and of course your country. generally there is a noticeable difference in the way freshers and work ex people are interviewed. freshers be well versed with your grads subject. its imp. and work ex guys/gals know what you have been working in. and the panel can ask about anything. from eco tourism to why i am d "maverick" indro they asked me diverse stuff. 1/2 of u will be asked why iifm and not a general MBA so be prepared with it. dont be over the top with your answers. faculty can see through the fake and the truth. but make sure they get to appreciate your passion for the sector...

I know my query is silly one but still I cn't let it go unanswered.
In"particulars of extra-curricular activities(including hobbies and interests),we have to write in sentences or seperate hobbies using commas.

And what should be written in statement of purpose.Its rather smaller so I think it should be well written.Seniors please show us the way

honestly never gave this much of a thought.. but i guess commas should be fine.
SOP yeah!! tats important to a degree..

hey the below points are totally my opinion! do not think this is any secret to success.. just can tell you how i would have filled d form.

and ... here it goes

do u wanna drive in the forestry perspective only?
u dont know which 1 will be ur forte so just ease out a bit on d forestry thing a bit and try to put a lil more content on d other aspects. how a govt institute of dis stature can catapult ur visions of a greener earth and can help u grow intellectually and otherwise...
dont write sth which might ask for statistical justifications n den u will be screwed in interview on it. just write nice +ve things and write how ur interests r inclined and how u c IIFM being the stepping stone to ur success initially and in turn u giving back 2 d society and d earth at large!! all the best!!

its not just about forestry! development field can be related to many spheres
micro finance community development likewise environment aspect can deal with carbon trading environment impact assessment, and bio diversity.

but what im trying to tell u all is that u wudnt know what to choose for urself until u come 2 colege so keep ur options open! write about the 3 aspects equally a bit and then write about growth n learning. be more holistic in nature. :smile:

hi everyone

regarding filling the form just keep in mind tat u rite wat u can substantiate as the pannel goes through the form at the time of interview so, itis imp(n how smart v may be but we can not fool them so pls dont rite any googled hobby or interest)
As far as ur hobbies n interests r concerned just rite wat ever u like doing most ( I rote i like healthy exachange idea on relevent topics meaning i like to gossip)
so go ahead n rite wat ever u love doing cause u can justify it anyday

and for Y IIFM do proper research bout college ,its alumini, courses offered and other stuff so u kno wat does IIFM means.Here also rite wat IIFM means to u if u really want to come to IIFM
and if it is one of the many colleges u r applying to rite the same SOP as u rote for other coll just modify it acc to IIFM

but main POINTS TO REMEMER
no spelling mistakes
no grammatical errors
no cutting in form

and rest u kno google has no dearth of such SOP so just google

Thanx renuka . I did good research but could not write much in sop as there were just 6 lines. And i dont have that good brevity.Tried to write it in a best way. Do they ask questions on SOP in an interview?

see all daT depends on de interviewer..if he feels he can ask...but normally they dont...u dont have to write much..just write whatever u feel..dats de best policy in my opinion...

rite a rough draft first n then try to improve it you can consult ur faculty of coaching or college also
