hi guys;
i m aiming for cat-09.joined in career launcher before 2 weeks.we didnt start wid our actual cat sessions.i am persuing my graduation in comp sc.so i am sure dat i can dedicate more time for cat.but,i m poor at calculations.none of my frnds r attempting cat.so,i dont hav anyone to help me out.v hav 1 year wid us.so wat abt the homework?reading editorials will help us to improve our VA but wat abt reasoning?how can i improve my calculating speed?plss.....help me.

the CAT gets more mysterious what wid the CAT 08 having a total of 90 questions!...well guys(or rather puys)..v only have more bouncers ahead of us coz CAT 09 is gonna b online 2 top it all..lets gear up!!

calculations would increase with regular practice only. do some questions every day . i have also started with reading editorials and some articls from the net.. Thats it.
do as many quant questions a day. As CAT 08 was also tough on DI and quant.We need to practice more and more

The next one would be CAT 09 , our CAT.

Nothing much to do till Jan 9(after that hopefully preparing for GD/PI) ...so thought of solving quant questions but couldn't find any such thread??

I am Pradeep , with 2.5 yrs of IT experience after BE. Now Mission IIM ....
Currently i am at chennai . Any body there based out of chennai please reply.We can have a weekly meeting kind of thing and have a discussion among us.

Also I want u guys suggestion in joining coatching center .... Which one to join ??

You guys are talking about CAT 09... I'd be lucky if I were well prepared for CAT 2010! haha. Anyways, glad to have found this thread... I'm Aditya from Bengaluru, 21, studying law at University Law College. I'm really bad at quant. I want to start at a very, very basic level. So here's the deal: If anyone's interested in working with percentages and fractions with me, and number theory, do contact me. I could use all the help. Right now I'm not looking at CAT oriented study for quant, just brushing up basic math. I'm also open to new methods that Vedic math employs. Wanna get some books on that. Bear in mind, my math is only tenth grade level. So if you're too good for that... my loss... []

for very basic level start with NCERT 10th book. it will help u to get the basics right. Then u can use any coaching class material .

Practice is the key for maths .

Hi puys,

I'm DK, I gave CAT a shot last sunday.... hahahahhhaahhah it was fun, and I bet the machine reader thing is gonna go berserk with my answers... might even malfunction! CAT 2009 is now under the scanner and this time I am going to crack it. This is my first year into work so having trouble juggling prep and office together.
