We have a batch strength of 139 for the 2008-10 batch.21% of the batch consists of freshers.

the notification is expected to be out sometime by this month end...all the details will be available in the notification....

about your second query...both the courses are equally good...infact we have three courses here at NITIE....other than the two you have mentioned we also offer PGDITM...all the courses are equally good provided you know where you interest lay pls go through the following link for more details

do not look at the PGDIE program cause that is for people who come via GATE and not CAT...
In brief the three programs
PGDIM - general management course
PGDISEM - management degree with a focus on environment and industrial safety
PGDITM - management degree with a focus on IT

all the three courses have carved a niche for themselves in the market...which means you dont have to worry about the placement aspects for sure you just have to realize what course appeals more to you....

Ok Ok...coming back to the point. I don't think many (or any) of the puys have asked about this. What Percentile(approx) from CAT is required to get oneself in NITIE? Also, can someone please(may be coach chops) can provide the data regarding the same for last 3 years?

Hello Navneet,

Last year (Class of 2010) we had a cut-off of 98.2 percentile overall and 80 pc sectionals. Also one needs to have a first class degree in Engineering.

Class of 2009 had a cut-off or 97.5 pc overall with sectional being 80 pc.

Hi,

I have a question about the payment. The instruction says:
"4)The payment can be done by depositing the application fee with the necessary transaction charges in any branch of the SBI in favour of NITIE (A/C No: 30510275155). The Challan can be downloaded from the link provided in the payment page. Please fill in the Category (General/ Reserved) details prior in the personal details page to get the complete Challan for printing."

1) Can we do an online transfer of the amount to NITIE's SBI account? (I have an account with SBI hence was wondering if this is acceptable or not).
2) (In case #1 is true) Generally, we get a unique "Transaction ID" for every online transfer. Can this ID be used for the "Challan"?
