Well i dont think u must at all worry about that...A few names were missed in the CAT brochure...which i think hv been corrected now on the site too..
So NITIE is included certainly.. Dont knw if this news is available here at PG...certainly would be..but jus for ur satisfaction : check this Advancedge MBA Online :: CAT Notification Released
Also saw the site...it still has info abt CAT affiliation..so it shldnt be the case..

P.S. Any Senior Puys have more info on this then plz share

So, NITIE does check sectional cutoffs or one can have a varied score off say 99.8, 99.5 & 75 percentile?

NITIE does have a min sectional cutoff that all students have to fulfill before their overall scores are looked at...its not like the IIMs that give you three diff sectional cutoff like the one in your example...though the sectional cutoffs are never disclosed a look at the last two batches indicates that it must be around 80%tile for all the sections....if you fulfill this minimum cutoff then your overall score shall be looked at to decide whether to give a call or not.

Hey manastar Chopsuey pretty much answered ure query...
We do have a couple of people with about 81 sectional percentile.. though really very few...but remember ure overall need to be at least about 98.5+ this year. The past year saw a huge jump in cutoffs from 97 to about 98.2 percentile for our batch.

There is nowhere on the NITIE site, the average package accepted by the last passing out batch mentioned...only highest domestic and international packages are mentioned...can u plss throw some light on this aspect...
