yaar.........just take a piece of white paper and cut it into pieces of the reqd size. write ur name n address on those.......and that will be enuf.........:satisfie:

Sorry . Forgot to mention. do we need to attest the photocopies of the documents to b submitted? who all can attest except a gazetted officer?

dude.....same query 4 me 2...

I have taken 20 day leave regardng CAT prep..and right nw at my home twn...but i cud find only 5/7 mark lists of my btech.....and it says that ALL marks list photocopies along with other docs shud reach them within 7 days!!!

and I have my consolidated marks sheet.....which shows the marks of all semesters.....

does that suffice????

Just cutting a piece of paper in shape and sending it might do...However, to be in safe side (do as mentioned in the form), it is preferable to get a sticker (having adhesive on it). I could not easily find it in Kolkata as well. You can get it somewhere in Gariahat. However, I did not bother so much. I had a few floppies with me and a sticker is normally provided with floppy. I used those for this purpose...May try it

I sent the NITIE form around a week ago through speed post. However, the status in NITIE site is still indicating it has not been received yet.

'Your Application and other documents are awaited. Documents should reach NITIE within 7 working days of submitting the application online. Keep checking the status periodically to get an update on the status of your application.'

It should have been reached there by this time. Are they delaying in updating the status in site? What say those who have already sent it..

You can open up http://www.nitie.edu/applyonline/index.php

Then login and you would get the instructions..Just for convenience these r the instructions on that page

Instructions for Applying Online
1) The candidates have to register for applying online by creating login ID and password. You can use the same to correct your form details till submission.
2) The online form has 5 sections as indicated in the Side menu. You can navigate between various sections and save the details at your convenience.
3) When you click on the "Save" button in a page, the details in that page are saved.
4) The payment can be done by depositing the application fee with the necessary transaction charges in any branch of the SBI in favour of NITIE (A/C No: 30510275155). The Challan can be downloaded from the link provided in the payment page. Please fill in the Category (General/ Reserved) details prior in the personal details page to get the complete Challan for printing.
5) The candidates are to provide the Challan number (Journal number) online to complete the application form.
6) After completing all the 5 sections, click on the "Confirm & Submit" button in the last page. Once you "Confirm & Submit" your application, you can no longer make changes in your form.
7) Once you submit your application, you will be given a unique "Application Form Number". You will then be taken to a confirmation page, where you can take a printout of your application form. The form duly signed and affixed with a photograph have to be sent to the address given below along with the institute copy of the challan and 4 self-addressed stickers (3.5 cm × 7.5 cm) by registered post /speed post/courier within a week of submitting the form online. Mention your Application Form Number on the reverse of the bank Challan.
The last date for submitting applications through this online portal is Nov 12, 2008.
9) Please DO NOT Press Back button of the Browser at any point of time. Use the navigation links provided to navigate between the screens.

A few more people had the same query..I think the answer was that it would get updated..it gets updated a bit late.

i'm in my final year of graduation. i've marksheets only upto 6th sem(total of 8 sems). is it ok to send only photocopies of them or should i send a letter stating that i'm in final year . what is that photocopy of degree certificate/certificate stating % of marks obtained. kindly clarify...
