Hi There people ,
The wait is finally over for me , after some excruciating period of introspection and thinking of what went wrong and what more could i have said in the interview , i have finally been confirmed by GLAKES . I am proud to be a patriot and will be accepting the offer .

TBM and AM you guys should take a bow . You were absolutly brilliant the way you had answered and listen to all our queries i really appreciate it . I hope to come to the campus and visit it before 12th ( thats the date for the first installment ) . Will i be able to see the campus ?

Another thing is that i couldnt recieve the call from the admissions department as i was on a overseas call at that time and realized only in the night that i had got a missed call from chennai . Will that be a problem ?

I am sending the acceptance letter now and will be calling tomorrow to confirm .

Hi,

You will be able to see the campus in the evenings....not an issue as long as you send the acceptance letter and adhere to the payment deadline....you can always call on monday to confirm....thanks for the high praise.....just doing our job....

I truly agree on this coz the wait is now getting frustating and never ending. Would have been much better if WL nos could have been there , otherwise one will have to wait till the session starts nd that even we don't know ; for good or for otherwise.
Aztec , thanks for pasting the RTI link but it would have been more helpful if it was the WL nos or the selection logic / criteria :-) ..Hope you understand our situation . Its just the anxiety and wait getting better of us all. Cheers and keep up the good work.

See, i was told by the adcom that another wait list would be released in a week's time, this is tentative....as and when vacancies are created at each milestone.....we will call and intimate the others about the wait list movement.....so, i would suggest that you guys keep checking your mail and application status on the web periodically....also visit this thread for any updates....

P.S: from experience, i can say that there is hope for a few more people to get in.....but i dont know when...

Guys who have already sent the Acceptance letter one query
Did you sign on the Acceptance letter and emailed the institute a scanned copy along with the signature?
or did you just fill up the Acceptance letter (without the signature) and emailed it to GLAKES?
Asking this because there is a signature place holder on the Acceptance doc.

Also the latest email mentions just the schedule of sending the Acceptance letter and paying the first installment and nothing about the schedule of the remaining installments, the same fees payment guideline doc as earlier has been sent;
So does that mean that we have to follow the same schedule as mentioned for the first round admits (for the remaining installments)?
Did any one check out with Adcom about this?

Is it possible to know the number of people who were in the initial waiting list? This will atleast give the people in WL some idea of their chances. Sorry if this sounds very silly.
