As per the guidelines designed for the GD and PI scoring, it is not true that a general average score is given to all telephonic interview candidates.

Its management’s decision on how the scores for GD is given to candidates of telephonic interview and that interest of telephonic interview candidates will be taken care.

This batch also has lot of candidates who have come in through same process.SO do not worry about the process for telephonic interviews.

Does Great Lakes also provide specialization in IT like other institutes , in the curriculum mentioned in website there is specialization by name of Operations & Technology covering some of the subjects of IT but no as such specialization in IT.

If that is the case then IT/ITes companies coming for placement recruit from which specialization ?

Please correct me if i m missing some information.

Hi,

We dont have a specialization exclusively for IT. However, as you rightly mentioned, we have IT related subjects combined under a single heading of IT and operations......our students come from various backgrounds and specialize in either 1 or even 2 functional areas.....IT companies have a cross functional outlook and they dont have a preference for 1 specialization.....they view the specializations in the context of your work experience......hence our emphasis on candidates with work ex.....in some cases, IT companies can recruit people for certain standard functional areas such as marketing and operations.....but i would say that there is no rule as such.....
