With only one day remaining for application submission, everyone of you will be busy in fine tuning your application form. Please remember that the last date for submission of application form is 23.59 IST 30th Jan 2009.

Some pointers before submitting your application form:

Please ensure that all your personal details are filled correctly.
o Mainly the Address, gender, mobile number and alternate email id
o Please also ensure that your photograph is visible to you

The academic details and the achievements have been filled correctly.

o In case of any deviation between the actual grades/marks/percentage and the one reported to the institute, you will be debarred from the admission procedure.

The Test information is filled in correctly.

o In case of any deviation between the actual grades/marks/percentage and the one reported to the institute, you will be debarred from the admission procedure.

In the work experience tab please make your you have filled in correct number of months of experience(Till 31st March 2009)

Please ensure that your essays are complete.

The recommenders have filled in the recommendations. The last date for the recommenders to fill in the details is also 30th Jan 2009.

Once you have submitted the form please login again and you will be able to see the filled application form , but you will not be able to edit it. Please verify if all the details have been filled by you completely and correctly.

It is mentioned in the recommender form that 1 is the highest rating and 10 is the lowest. Please remind him the same if possible before he fills the form

In case the recommendation is submitted wrongly, contact the admission committee @ Great Lakes to do the necessary changes or tell your recommender to resend the evaluation on the 10 parameters mentioned on prior posts from their official email ids.

You can submit you application before the recommendation is filled. But BOTH the form and the recommendations should be complete before the last date of submission. Else the form may not be considered for evaluation.

Three days back i have uploaded my photo and when i was trying to upload that again that photo got replaced and now i am not able to upload any photo it is showing as blank.
Can u please help me out on this .

Can you please tell,by what date will the GDPI calls be out?
And how much is the time gap between the date when the GDPI list is declared and the first day of the GDPI sessions?

I wish the Reco letter had more objective kind of Qs. A recommeder will gte bored typing 400*5 words.

@All Applicants,
What is the usual length of answers you are getting from your recommenders ?
What is the answers are within 100 words .? Does that affect negatively?

My recommender also told me that she would never type 400*5 words! So she has apparently given out 1 answer worth 300 words and the rest ranging from 100-250.

I strongly feel that the recommendation length would not impact our chances as long as it has enough matter. Why should our MBA chances be dependent on something as frivolous as having a lazy boss!

The calls will be rolled out in approx 3 weeks. You will have a week's notice on an average.
