announcement of application to bim came 2-3 days back.during the process of online appln it asks for cat registration number and test center code.and it is mentioned that applicants should have given cat 2008.so i would like to know if i have to apply before CAT2008 or after..

there are people wid sum arrears in their UG but it doesnt matter much wen u hav experience...so my advice juz prepare well for ur cat.......

Hi Harish,

My guess would be that you fill d form once you get your CAT 2008 admit card wherein you will get all the necessary details that are required to be entered in the form.

And you can fill the form anytime before the last day of submission, it will not make any difference if you fill it before the exam, coz if some1 doesn't give CAT his application would not be considered.

I am a fresher appearing in CAt this year and I am intersted in IT or consultancy post MBA.So how is BIM with regard to them?Do companies offering these profiles visit BIM?Also what is the demography of recruiters? Are they mainly from the southern region or from all over India?

What was the cutoff last year?

Hey Swapnil
When it comes to cut-off, there's no distinction made b/w a work-ex or a non-work ex guy. So, it's like that as we had the general category cut-off as 95%ile last yr, it was the same for both work-ex n a non work-ex guy.
