CAT form doubt, CPI converter - 02-08-2008, 04:58 PM

Hi all,
I have a doubt regarding one Converter form being attached with the CAT form.
Brochure says that we are supposed to attach some form/certi stating that my university is using some or other equivalence to calculate the percentage obtained, actually i am recently passed out of my university and its really tough to get such form, from university and as we got our marks as grades, so is it really necessary to enclose such forms or direct conversion of grades to percentage can be done?
