If you are unable to figure out what I mean; imagine an ideal scenario where a person gets 60 percentile in each section; he would have an 80 something percentile overall already, I believe. And, that was an ideal case. So, a percentile above that, even in one section, you know what that would result into.

10 marks in QA means 53.94 percentile
10 marks in DI means 38.92 percentile
16 marks in VA means 61.05 percentile
Which is not very high as colleges like FORE and IMI also have sectionals at about 50-60 percentiles.
We can't say that having sectionals is bad on UBS part , as they have told this well in time. And moreover we should respect each colleges admission procedure. And this is probably done as " we are expected to show our competence in all sections".
As far as getting students who fulfill this criteria wont be a prob as people with as low as 10+10+16 = 36 marks are eligible which means just 51.69 percentile. So there will be enough students who full fill eligibility conditions and have above 51.69 percentile.
This year they cant change the admission procedure as they wont go against the handbook they have provided, cant say about next year admission procedure , they can change it if they don't like it.
