DI was easy or i picked the right set, the football and prime number set, both had pretty easy problems, got all right!

30 min i guess for DI, I had to get back to quant, luckily i did that, cracked four 5 markers

hey buddy, although i am in no gr8 position to guide u (got 29.5 in VA this simcat), i do have certain suggestions....like u i too am strong in DI and Maths(my QA scores in this one r not an indicator... ), and struggled with english....but now i am doing much better....i have some suggestions which i followed and u might give a shot....
Form a group, then do english in groups, try to solve the same questions, and then discuss among urselves,...the more ferocious an arguement, the better....u need not get a definite answer to the problem, but i can tell u that these discussions really build ur reasoning skills...u might have observed tht the VA section is no longer abt grammar or even vocab...its all reasoning....so after some time, there will be certain kind of options in subjective questions which u can merely see and eliminate....i have done this and have seen some improvement in my scores....although there still r certain answers that fox me...

i REALLY don't know why i bother practicing with quant if it continues to be my nemesis like this.
REALLY upsetting.
made 5 attempts only. did not even know HOW to solve the others.
HOW can i possibly be this BAD

VA=22 (Not a bad accuracy..considering i gave a share of my VA time to DI which back fired)

My take:
DI-I found the 2.5 markers time consuming. Even wasted a few minutes on the wrestling question. 5 markers seemed quite easy. I feel i should have scored more, but i am happy with my accuracy.
Quant-Some questions were tough. It was very important to spot sitters and solve them. Scored less than last time but content.Ims guys say that this was tougher than cat-07. They also say that this could be attempted in 50 mins
Verbal-The bright spot for me. Improved tremendously(by my standards). Scored heavily in the eu section. Strike rate of 50% in rc. Focus was on increasing number of attempts as i had planned.

Very happy with the result. Crossed 100 for the first time. Very optimistic of clearing all the cutoffs.The level of the test seemed slightly difficult than the last one. Cutoffs should be similar to last time taking into account the number of test takers.

vineet, you also taking mocks? anyways!! Good scores! quant is real good, DI you should be 55+

Overall:80.5..A slight improvement in quant but I am worried about my VA
