hello ppl,
i hv doubt in one of the q's...had given mock yesterday...
so dun remember the q's no..apologies for the same..
the q's was smthin like if we hv to select out of first 50 natural nos such tht thr exits atleast 2 pairs who hv difference of exact 12...
nd options were smthin like n>=24,n>=26,n>=28,n>=30

ans given by CL is n>=26
but if we tk the case where 26 no selected are -
[1,12] union [25,26] union [39,50]

we hv 26 nos but no 2 hv difference of exact 12...
so ans shud be n>=28
can smone plz point out mistake in above...

i have done a lot worse than wat i did in
previous tests,i doubt i will qualify the cutoff of
DI.
Anyways i found the paper really difficult,and would like people
to explain the strategy they use when questions are of different

the set is actually { 1,2 ,3 ... 12 , 25 , 26..... 36}

so totally 26 elements .. if one element is added , then it forms a pair whose difference is 12...

so there must be 24 elements atleast for the given condition...


so n = 26.... i think n >=26 is right....

hope i am right...

screwed big time in this mock.. was a pretty easy paper than mock cat 1.. but results r entirely different...


experimented many things new today...todays combination didnt do merry for me.. thats what i can see... soon after i gave the paper i realised that this perhaps was not ma day... indeed the scores r the crystal clear eg

ma stronger point...was a easy section to score , unfortunately as i did lot of experimentation, i flunked big time and ended up scoring paltry score.....

hmmm .. no comments on this section.. i am ditched by this section quiet a lot of time.. so its yet another day

if u see quant , i wasnt selective today.. attempted many difficult question.. but of course got it right... in that process , got many sitters wrong due to shortage of time


over all cl mock cat 2 was learning experience and of course , i deserve this mark as i didnt manage myself in the duration of 150 min...

will bounce back strongly next week...

i have a problem in question 88
it was given that a and c!=1 and a*b=c eq1 also b*c=a eq2
dividing 1 and 2 as B cant be equal to zero
therefore a^2=c^2
a=c is d only posibilty beacuse log of a negative number is not defined
hence b=1

so option 1 and 2 both are correct
can some one tell me where iam wrong
