sorry did't put my views earlier was a bit too busy.

well someone wanted to know bout internet...they have round 30 comps in the lab and they do have internet axcess on them
the lib is also quite good,
now bout housing.
well most people take flats overthere then share 1bhk cost anywhere between 6-8k depending on the location and generally 4 share the place... they have a broker in coll who will help out people.
the working womens hostel costs rs1600 for room 2sharing plus b/f and dinn but it shuts by 10pm and after that no dinner. spoke to a girl staying there says its nice and clean but no attached bathrooms.
also met a guy paying up there we wnet to chk the guys hostel... and guess what! they did't let him even though he had paid up... some wierd thing bout u can see it only after paying up for it or something like that....
so mostly everyone needs to make arrangements of their own for the first few days.
coll starts on 15th june at 10am.
nothing more i can think of other than

so forget what others say...what say u lets rock the place ourselves..

i'm planning on staying at my granny's place which is at grant road...which means i need to change trains too...
so will try it out for sometime then will decide.
but the hostel seems like the cheapest and best option. but u need to hurry up on that find out from the coll how to book a place at the hostel.. sooner the better.
also a lady ion the office told me that she knew a PG place that charges 5k per month but is jus to laundry. to all aminities.
so i guess best option is try out things once v reach there.. me planning on being in bombay by 12/13th...
my no u can reach me at is xxxxxxxxxx..(this is for all my batchmates) so as we reach lets all get aquainted...

ive made it to kj..50 students from the WL cud get in..i was really surprised that 50 selected left the inst. ill get the written admission confirmation within 1/2 days.
the problem is maily @ stay..the best way is taking a flat near the inst .about 4 girls can stay in 1 flat. but as meher said for a few days one has needs to make arrangements of her own and check out the options when in bombay.

anyways, kavitha and dhiraj can we meet this week ? since we all are from malleshwaram we can meet here somewhere..what say?? do let me know..kavitha i did meet a girl whis taken adm. i suppose shes finalised a flat just outside the campus - 1L adv. and 12K per month. we'll meet and ill tell in detail..

btw , any1 else from blore getting into kj is also welcome to join us..just write in and let us know..

Meher Thnx for the info on the Internet and computer facilities.
From the info gathered it semms that flats will be more viable option given the hostel accommodation limits.
Are there any plans in air on the accomodation for the first week or so there?

no need to change trains .. just go to byculla by bus from grant road and catch a train from there ..trust me ..u will save half an hour daily

i will be in mumbai on 12th and then will look for accomodation .i think for the starting few days there will be some probs (minor ones) and after few days everybody will settle down.mind u there r seniors residing nearby so they would also help.plan ur trip 2 days in advance to the date of joining and we will find out a place.arthi i met kavitha and we w r waiting for u.hope to see u by friday
