I would like to help you make a decision by giving examples of my friends. btw, i am frm iit and many of my seniors passed out this year from IIML. Most of them have got worst jobs. One of them has got a 4.5 LPA OFFER FROM BoB(bank of baroda) posting in baroda and in hand is 26 k. Another has offer from PSU REC for pkf 5.0 LPA. The best of them as far as i know has got a 8 LPA job. So, it may be possible that after MBA u get a job with lesser pkg and hectic work hours and with the job being too boring( MS excel and ppt all the time) complete bakar....If you are in a core engg firm, please be thr as india is yet to see the engg boom. IIMs have bcom famous recently but what they offer in terms of job profile u will never know now. Even if you want to make money, you go around the world and see rich business men, you will find not even 20 % of them have MBA degrees.

As far as my experience goes , it all depends on your interviews ...
Score might be used for the initial screening process but there are a lot of
other factors that also come into place during the final selection :-

1) Academic Background
2) Extra Curricular
3) Work Experiencer
4) Score {Test }
5) GDPI ........ { V.V Imp }

As per my experience you could predict with almost certainty whether you
would make the cut or not depending upon your interview , Scores do matter
but its your confidence & clarity in the interviews that make the difference ...
