I wanted to ask that we have to check the application status in the respective iim we have given??
Like i submitted to iim lucknow so they are sayin tht accepted so i neednt check for other branches , right ??

Yes Rocha.. I assume this is the case.. I'm not sure whether they have a centralized server but it actually makes sense to check the application status in the respective iim where the form was sent

Just checked my status from IIM-A, they've received the form and would start dispactching the admitcards from 13th i.e. Tomorrow

When will the CAT Registration Numbers (CRN) be displayed?
The haal tickets are being dispatched from today, i.e. 13th Oct. Will the site upload the details of CRN and exam centre in a day or two as the MDI form needs the CRN to be mentioned necessarily.

I guess you will have to wait till you recieve the Admit Card..It wn't be displayed on the site...

I think the best option since u arent getting any ans are - call up the IIM admission office and ask them ?
No1 here seems to know and at this time - speculating wont help.

Can anyone please intimate if he/she has received the admit card???? I would request the first person who has received the admit card to intimate in this thread so that we can have an idea about when we can expect our admit cards....

Dude as suggested by dazed do the following things:

1. Private Message (PM) the members in the suggested threads whom you feel may guide you at best. They will receive e-mail and will probably reply you back.

2. The best est ever option is to e-mail the concerned IIM where you sent your form, they will definitely reply back within 1-2 weeks. Just say it all clear what you want to. In case of urgency, call them. IIM authorities are very responsive but they delay in responding as they gets tons of e-mail/fax/calls each day. Better consult IIM authorities - Best Option

hi friends,
i am in big trouble. My CAT form got accepted but my name is displayed incorrectly.
As displayed :AYVSH SINGH
Correct name : AYUSH SINGH
When i checked zerox of my form,mistake is from my side.I know i have made a blunder but i need ur help.I have mailed IIMA on 3rd Oct but didnt recieved any reply yet.I also know they are not going to change my name.

I want to know which name should i write during examination?
I was told by some of IMS teachers that database of forms and exams are not interlinked i.e whatever u write in OMR sheet is get printed on Result card which we get.

Even then if i fill any college forms will they be able to retrive my result?may be they will not find any AYUSH SINGH .

The phone no. which IIMA has given in brochure is "Automated response system no." which is of no use. i tried it thinking maybe there will be an option of diverting the call and talk to a real person.

hi puys,

I need your help.
I applied for cat 2008 and when post man tried to deliver my test admit card
to my address, i was not at home and he has sent it back to the source where
it came from(IIMK). I mailed to admission office at IIMK requesting them to resend
my admit card specifying my cat application form number and speed post number.
When i tried calling them, nobody picks up the call.

Anybody faced this issue ? Guys plz help me on how to get my admit card back.
Is it necessary that i should be present at the time of delivery ? Or can they give it
to neighbors too ?
