Prove means as in stupid authorities refusing to c into logic...I was not allowed to write CAT in my final yr fr the same reason...all the best...

hi ppl,
got a few silly queries...
Table 6 of the CAT bulletin states that
"latest available grades/marks on the college/institution's letterhead"

I got the certificate from our HOD on our departments letterhead... Would that suffice ??

Or is it true that every word in the CAT bulletin is sacrosanct and has to be followed to the last letter...?

Also the checklist for ensuring completeness states in question 21.
"In case of studying in final year....indicating percentage of marks obtained so far (See Table 6), with the application form?"

Form 6 just says "atleast 50%"

just want to make sure.. dont want the application to be rejected bcoz of a silly mistake... thnx

U cannot use CAT form bought by somebody else, simply because ur name shud be ther on the bank-slip, which ur supposed to send with CAT form...

Dept letterhead shud suffice...while filling value in form, enter ur current aggregate %age, but certificate stating > 50 is perfectly fine...

No..if u get a NOC ie no objection certificate frm the person who has bought the form stating the reason y he or she is not filling it, you can fill it..Can you arrange that plz? Its very urgent..

do others also get the same message?...bcoz i read some puys sayin that they read deir application has been accepted...
is that the next step...bcoz in their bulletin they have stated that rejected candidates list will be put on oct 3...
but if they r followin this procedure...we can come to knw now only..whetha they reject or accept...some1 plz reply...very tensed...have made a mistake in d form

Yep buddy everyone's getting the same message. The status will be visible from 3rd october I think.

how much time does speed post take to send d form to IIM A from bombay?
I have send it on last saturday and www.catiim.in is not showing whether it has been received or not as of thursday ? i mean i m quite tensed......do iim's notify us if our documents dat we send along with form meet requirements??

the message i m getting is 'Your application form has not been received or application form number is incorrect.'

cat form required us to send latest marksheet along with it. i have send a latest marksheet but the problem is i have received < 50% in that particular semester but my aggregate is >50%. is that a matter of concern. this is the reason i m feeling tensed whether my form will be accepted or not?
