IIM Indore also writes that
IIM Indore has not applied percentile based sectional cutoff but candidates were ranked in decreasing order of a weighted overall score that was based on a combination of their performance in CAT 2007 and their prior work experience.
The last candidate on list with no work expercience had a weighted overall score of 34.38675 whereas you had a weighted overall score of 30.95550. Now I still have some question
1.) What functions and equations were used for calculating overall score at IIM Indore ? Will they tell if I ask ?
2.) Does answers of question 4 and question 5 by IIMK make sense ?
Initially they were saying that lowest percentile of a candidate shortlisted for GD-PI was 98.09 but now the are saying that its only 98.
Also they are saying that candidate having no work ex was selected with percentile 98 but no of candidate with no work ex and having percentile between 98.09 and 98.93 is 0.
It just does not make sense. This reply is signed by Prof Krishna Kumar, Director of IIM Kozhikode.
