My score...OA - 18 (8C,11W)
Found the test real tuff....tried hard but unable to crack most of the questions....Specially RC...even para jumbles in this format....Lost patience after 1:30 hr....left paper after tht....wats puys think abt the ppr?

i agree the paper was tough. but it was a good start for the test series as a tough paper is always good to get one going.

PT solution suggests dat 25-35 should have been scored in each of the sections with a 40+ being a great score in each section.

lets see how others have fared. any idea how many ppl gave this test?

my first mock of the season...took the test at home...lost patience after 2 hours..(thats y i dont take mocks at home..u r bound to leave if u r free to do so..)

btw score ain't that great...

EN - 22.....R-6 W-4
QA - 03.....R-1 W-1

OA - 30.....R-8 W-5

hey all ! tomorrow is SECOND pracat by PT.
i missed my first praccat cos i joined late for pt`s 99rs test batch for pt alumni. but that test centre madam said,, u take 1st praccat on 20th july ! i said madam,,tomorrow is second prac cat on all india level as per schedule. but she said they have 2 batches running. one took 1st praccat and on 20th july that batch will take 2nd prac cat. and second batch will take 1st prac cat on 20th july. grrrrr i said is this only for this centre or on all india level??? she said all india level they have 2 batches. but i doubt on her.... do u know is it really so??? should i take 2nd praccat to be in flow with u people or should i take 1st tomorrow???
and she said they dont give praccat papers at home to solve are they so strict???

one more doubt,, tomorrow is free pre cat of CF i registered for it too....mmmmm so what to attend ???? dont know timing of both but i guess both prac cat of pt and pre cat of cf will be on same time so im in confusion....

It is not possible that they have two batches running for different PracCATs at all India level...

I don't think that they don't give paper at home.. Better have a talk with center director/center head... He will definitely understand your situation and give you the paper. Right person will be Deepak Sir...

Moreover, at Ahmedabad, the PracCAT time has been rescheduled to 2.30 pm.. Might be they have considered requests from students attending CF free mock test...

so that madam was misguiding me huh....! grrrrr....ok so i wont get convinced by her and will be firm on i want to take 2nd prac cat tomorrow

mmmmm i clearly remember they said they cant give paper at home.... may be i willl talk to centre manager ....i need to make this clear for future too cos i have joined IMS test batch too and after septeber,, ims and pt tests getting clashed .... so i will sacrifice pt prac cat all india rank cos pt has less student base. and will go to ims simcat ....that after september. but still i need to clear this NOW.

thanks alot for telling rescheduling time they must have considered only cos of cf pre cat

I suppose there aren't many guys giving PT PracCATs on PG, so we can keep only one thread for the same..

Gave PracCAT#02, found it on easier side.. messed up on DI/LR as started off with some tough Qs and was not able to break them..

will check scores and post soon..

eng has been a problem since ages bt..now di has also started troubling me..

Hi people ... I am kinda new to this thread. I agree this was a comparitively easy PRAC CAT ... though I screwed it up big time! My Scores - QA - 33 VA - 21 DI/LR - 20 OA - 74 Should have definitely scored in this one. Any takes on cut offs ?

I think you are having good score... Might be more than 95 %ile

My scores
VA=13 (used to mess up on VA but this time it is RCs)
QA=16 (made silly mistakes)
DI/LR= 17 (messed up in DS)

OA= 46

Can't predict cutoff as we don't have some pool of people giving PracCAT...

You can ask few of your friends who attend classes...
I think you should easily pass OA cutoff(taking 0.28 to 0.30 of total score as benchmark)
