abhay agarwal(now in MDI,Gurgaon) has given the go-ahead for his nomination in d post of Manager for PG Kolkata DT 2008...
this post is open to more nominations...so wil edit ma post accordingly as more oldies and veterans drop in...
one thing...d selector's gonna have a tuf task

another piece of news...
as we all know d majority of last year's DT/UDT junta have settled down in IIM-C(Joka)...we have got quite a few gems residing so close 2 us...and it wud b gr8 to hear priceless things from the horses' mouth...dis wil b golddust to all members of this team i believe....

so have got access to this pool...we can as per der convenience meet up in IIM-C and discuss progress reports and other issues...
but these are all at advanced stages of prep...cuz thy r all vry busy rit now understandably...

but first we gotto make a fitting team...
so lukin fwd to more and more nominations in d comin days...

and i hope 2 kip d good news pourin in!!!

I would request all puys posting their nominatins to necessarily provide their brief profile and their mock scores so far. This will help to judge you better and will make screening and selection easier

The selection will be done be a common decision of the coach and the members. It will be based on your performance in the mocks as well as your zeal and your ability to work for the team and motivate others.

Hullo, am Sonali Ila Ekka. Currently I'm at Pune but will be moving to Kolkata soon. I'll be taking CAT for the first time this year. Here's my Mockcat history:

AIMCAT919 - 97.98%ile (missed quant cutoff by 1 marks)
AIMCAT918 - 92.24%ile (missed DI cutoff by 25 marks )

Hi Kolkata-Basi and All,

I am posting here because of the Coach (I don't know to how many of friends I forwarded Anirban's Posts in Thread All I wanted to Speak about CAT and how many times I read the IIM C GD PI as I thought its the best Interview one can take on earth, since till date I read all GD PIs listed in PG ) and Rik_12 (so enthu guy who everyday morning asked me did i file my nomination or not).



I think the above symbol is very sacred and only to be used in case you really did something Great.

CAT being one of 3 girlfriends, ( other two are my girlfriend and Football , the prioroty changes seasonally ) I am in PG from Nov 2005 and then on I am helping people the best way I Can.
I have a Dream:One day I will post 'Finally ' in 'CAT Final Call getter Profile' which is now renamed 'Profile of People who have Converted their IIM Calls!'.

Lots of baje boka.
Lets move on.

I am Arun Kumar Majumdar.
Electrical Engg,Jadavpur University,Class of 2006.
I work for PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Consultant.
Average academics,lots of extra-curricualrs (though I believe its only CAT percentile which is 'Sesh Katha').

CAT 2005 98.73 Calls - IIM B & IIM K.Not appeared in GD PI.(No question on this.lots of reason from my end.I want to be in A or C is one of the reason.But for skipping GD PI, I never repent that.).
CAT 2006 - skipped ( not appearing this time - I consider it as major mistake in life )
CAT 2007 98.28 (with Score 11 66+%ile in VA ) No Calls.

This year took IMS and TIME Mocks.

Warning : I am not a good perfomer in Mocks.

So my presence may hamper team performance.

jst started preparations... was bogged dwn due 2 semester examinations.. i have joined IMS for correspondence n simcat... do count me in ur team
