Finally an AIMCAT that contained less/more than 75 questions. Someone was listening.
The test went okay for me barring a dismal performance in VA. Gave it 55min+ and ended up with an average score. And no matter what the TIME analysis says, it wasn't that easy. And much trickier than the VA sections of the last two AIMCATs which were of an average/slightly below average difficulty. DI was pretty straightforward and I didn't make the most of it thanks to my obsession with scoring in verbal. Same with Quant, and the lack of practice clearly shows. Couldn't remember basic formulae and had to resort to derivations in the exam hall.
Anyway, content with the final scores, except for the verbal part. Approached the VA with a target score in mind which might've blinded me to the other opportunities at hand. Didn't even look at the first two pages of the Quant section, which is absolutely unforgivable. (I approached the section backward from the last page

)
The scores -
VA (24R, 15W) - 19 [60 min]
QA (21R, 2W) - 20.33 [50 min]
DI (27R) - 27 [40 min]
OA (72R, 17W) - 66.33
As is to be expected from a VA section that seems difficult, the answers to a few of the questions are contentious. I know better than to argue with the papersetters over subjective RC questions and tricky sentence completion questions but the key for Q.71 has to be changed from (1) to (2) simply because 'confidentially' doesn't quite mean the same as 'confidently'.
