Quant, the eternal culprit (?)
Well, honestly, it was my nemesis last year in almost all the mocks. My strategy was always attempting few questions in quant, but with higher accuracy. For a 25 question paper, i generally chose to solve around 10-11 questions and try and get 9-10 correct. This did not reap great dividends in the mocks. However, it bore fruit in both CAT (93) and XAT(96). Thus my perceived weakness turned into my strength. (If you may say so). However, a lot of hard work went into quant. I made sure that i concentrated heavily on Number system and try and solve every problem i could from this area. I also read Think without Ink, which i would recommend everyone to read. Its no magic solution; but it helps you think in a better way. Also, try to read all the questions in a 25 question paper. My intuition says that there won't be too much change in pattern this time even.
