Evn i got some doubts in this set...in solving for questions 8-10....i guess its mandatory to take up a case of 240 points...bt these guys have solved it by taking three cases as 60,120,180....yahin panga ho gaya.....sm1 puleez clarify!!!

Q.6 ) clearly = 60+120+180 = 360
Q.7 ) D - 30+45+40 =115
E - 20 + 36 + 60 = 116..
So, min. diff. = 1 (cudn't think of ny other combination..!! )


Taking any 3 cases with 240 as compulsory as it says 240 has to be highest score..!!
Now, Q.8 ... 60/60 =1, 60/20 = 3, 45/20 = 9/4 ... but how 3/4(it can't be 15/20, 30/40, 60/80 as scores have to be frm diff. events..)??

min. score of B.. = 48 + 30 + 30 = 108 (wheres the error..??)

nearest to 100 score of E = 48+ 30 + 20 = 98 (absolute diff. =2)
