Well, with everybody posting their list of nominations, I have a sinking feeling that most newbies on PG (like me) could be left out

I wonder what sort of criteria would be there to choose the team members.
Elect / Select ?

For Coach and Captain, I have no nominations to make as such (cos I don't know many people here) but every time I've logged in, I've found adityacooool and KTC on SB - vella and helpful

Suggestions for Name of the team (to be updated) :

Billi Daredevils (most obvious one !)
Some variation of 'D3 - Delhi Domingo Dominators' ( Domingo = Sunday in portuguese )
Delhi Dhinchaks!

In any case, great idea this.

hi everyone
just wanted to point out something...ie..there is no need for a GD/PI coach...

i know my wonderful friends have tried to accommodate me by having a post for gd-pi coach

There are gods who if ready to take on the task will provide the best coaching staff possible...no other city can boast of having both aarav & vineet for quants ...writetotanveer for VA in addition to so many DT members & the captains of DT06 & DT07

since we want delhi to win...lets rope them in & see how they can help..

plus the teams in the past have been selected...so we also need to choose selectors...(or is there some other mechanism in place this yr?)

PS : The nominations till now have been ,even if 1 DT was being made this year, it would have had plenty of NCR member, as has been the trend in previous yrs too..

dont worry Selection will be very fair..
Addition to this I believe following things should also be considerd while we nominate someone.

1. he should be willing to contribute in the group/
2. he should be taking atleast one mock series without any fail till CAT.
3. New Bees should be encouraged
4. Nominees should be having more balanced scores.(instead of skewed one)
I think if we keep sectional cut offs too like 75 or 80%tile in each section...
that should be good...

Some Points for ppl participating in the PGPL

1. The Idea behind all this exercise is to bring in the Enthu in the CAT prep.
2. Please Dont forget the main motto still remains the same i.e to tame the CAT
dont hesitate to experiment in the mocks (by the fear of being pulled out of team).
3. If someone is having problem in one/two sections. Dont pressurise yourself to increase the overall score. But First Clearing all the sectional cut offs.

I couldn't have put it better.

@stupidify..! Talking to the admins, we were told that every team will be having a mix of both oldies and newbies. so do not worry about newbies being neglected. its just that we can nominate from amongst only those whose scores and past performances we know....or whose potential we are aware of

if u wanna get in, make us WANT you in the team... show your worth... tell us how do u plan to help the team out... show some enthu.... and then we'll see who does not take you in the team

i am telling again... these are just personal opinions, no one has been finalised in the team as yet... we can only decide about the team once the deadline is over.
so please have faith in admins and oldies... no favouritism of any sorts will be there
