I thank you all for supporting me for the post of vicecaptain. I m sure the selectors must have evaluated all options in reaching to this conclusion. I hereby,officially, accept the position. With me starting to work soon and having the CFA Level 1 Exam in Dec, I would try my level best to fulfil my duties as the vice captain.

hmmm Seeing reactions on probation.... I need to tell u wats our intent by saying Probation....It was just to mention rohit's criteria of changing captain  .... n the smiley (which actually couldnt appear coz of missing colon) indicates that I was just pullin Adi's leg

well guys, i gladly accept the post being offered to me and i would thank all of you guys who have been so supportive of the whole idea....
but guys, one thing i would like to clear on the onset is, that the NCR DT is not competing with any other team. neither is it competing amongst itselves.... this is not a fighting unit, its just a support system. to support each other as and when one requires....
the DT members will be free to choose their own strategies for approaching papers, though advices and suggestions can be sought. No DT member will be under pressure to perform extraordinarily. we will have our good days, and we are bound to have our bad days as well... but no day, is anyone gonna doubt anyone else's capabilities and anyone else's place in the team.
We are here to bask in each others'glory and share our bad days with others.
i am again pressurising the point that "OUR GOAL IS NOT WINNING THE LEAGUE, THE NCR DT HAS ITS EYES SET ON THOSE 16 SEATS IN IIMA THAT BELONG TO US"

Well said, Captain Adi. It is an honour to be a friend of this chap who is the DT captain.
I never had any doubt about the fact that CAT 08 would be your season, Adi, but I'm still happy at your appointment as DT captain. That's because I know that not only will you push yourself to achieve more, but you will also be instrumental in ensuring that many others give more than 120% and achieve success for themselves.
Vivekvarendra, I don't know you personally, but if Aarav, Quantasaurus, and MFI say you're good, that's enough.
