I guess there's something more underlying all this than just nominating oneself and punching scores.At-least we at Chennai with all our last years effort should pursue this with more zeal.
So my suggestions are as follows:-
- Try getting maximum squad members like team players, substitutes, coach, manager from Chennai only, with only exception being the five"foreign" players like Rani-Das which can't join practically.
- All others should be welcomed to work together like they had always been doing which means Prahlad, Baby, Chuck and now the "ultra-busy" Utsav
, but not with official responsibilities as their business can peak in between the session.
- And finally everything right from squad selection to further rounds should happen physically and people being regular to these meets should be given priority.
- Let's call a meet on this Saturday, if not already there and ask people to join and justify that they are game for the full session.
- Infact the final selection of everyone should be done on the broad parameters of availabilty, keenness and potential in that order itself.Afterall there's no point in winning or losing this league as I would always prefer to get 10+ WIMWI selections than merely winning this league.
- Lastly we can also think of inviting veterans like Girish who otherwise remain silent but certainly can be of lot much value in these meetings.

That is tough to answer cos we used to have 3 or 4 meets every week ..
that too the post CAT meets were jus impossible to count..minimum 6 to 7 would turn up for the meet..all meets would not be pre decided and it used to happen suddenly

Chennai Juggernauts - Its time to pay (screw) back.....
or
Chennai Juggernauts - Its pay back time..
Or
Chennai Juggernauts - Its time to crush back...(If we want something that goes with the meaning of Juggernaut
Reason - Guess almost all of us are taking CAT for the second/third/fourth time...all these years we got screwed at the exams...n now his yr its our turn to screw back...:sly:
N regarding captain selection...Let that person be the one who s pretty famous with all the chennai junta...Guess its not required to consider only the past percentile for the selection...The person has to inspire/lead the team through his posts...(We can evaluate this by his past post quality)
My choice - Getintoiimb or Maverick_srikan (Didnt consider Andy as he s not a CAT taker )
Anyway guess our selectors are more knowledgeable than me and let them do the needful

Hi,
Could you please give details as to the Mock CAT series that you might be joining/joined. This would help the selectors a great deal. Please edit your earlier post to add the details as it make it easier for the selectors to jot don candidates.
