Parajumbles need not always form a paragraph. And also, the starting sentence need not be the starting sentence of a paragraph. It can be from anywhere in between. We just need to find out the most logical sequence . Let me know if this answers your question.

Let me put it this way.
Consider a card with number 8/6/9. According to the statement the other side should be consonant as if it contains vowels the other side should be prime which is not the case here. So to validate the above statement we will flip on of the 8/6/9 and make sure that the other side is consonant and if its not then the above statement is invalid. Q)
How many athletes did Malaysia send?
a.4
b.5
c.7
d.6
| Option A. 4
I+M+C+J = 15
C+M = 6 (given) -----> 1
I+J = 9 (deduced) -----> 2
M+J = 7 (given) -----> 3
I+C = 8 (deduced) -----> 4
J-C= 1 (deduced) -----> 5
India and China cannot be the countries who sent 4 athletes (see 4). Japan is not that country that sent 4 athletes, too (J:4,I:5,C:3,M:3 - not possible, not unique). So, Malaysia sent 4 athletes. Quote:
Q)

But in that case u need to overturn all the 3 cards rite.. (8,6,9) We need to verify all 3.. We can't stop with jus one.
Let me know if I'm right

my choices
1.b(because it completes the para)
2.c(This was the only thing i felt, that continued with the para in quest. on a mock,i'dve skipped it)
3.d(this one was a sitter, if i get it right)
good ones Quote:

But the Olympics have had little to do with it. On balance, the award of the games has done more harm than good to the opening up of China. The big forces driving that opening are independent of the games. One is the speed with which China globalised in the 1980s and 1990s and then accelerated to a breakneck pace after accession to the World Trade Organisation in 2001. The other is the spread of the internet and mobile telephony that have transformed society. ……………. a) Those who have argued for the beneficial effect of the Olympics on China have made three specific claims, none of which holds water b) The Olympics, by contrast, have seen the Communist Party reassert an authoritarian grip over Beijing c) To build state-of-the-art facilities for the games, untold numbers of people were forced to move d) But that is not thanks to the Olympics, which have brought more repression Q2. This is especially true of gene therapy. Replacing defective genes holds out great promise for people suffering from diseases such as muscular dystrophy and cancer. But administered to sprightly sportsmen, the treatment may allow them to heave greater weights, swim faster and jump farther…………… a) Given that so much unnatural tampering takes place, the onus is surely on those who want to ban doping (genetic or otherwise) to prove that it is unusually unfair b) And that would be cheating, wouldn’t it? c) From this perspective, the sole concern when it comes to enhancing athletic performance should be: is it safe for the athletes? d) But that already happens: just compare the training facilities available to the minuscule Solomon Islands squad alongside those of mighty Team America Q3. The Doha round launched in late 2001, soon after the terrorist strike in the United States, was a bold attempt at reviving the world economy. The Doha round is the first ever multilateral trade negotiation to have a development dimension. It was hoped that trade liberalisation, properly calibrated, would allow the poorer countries access to the markets of industrial countries……………. a) There are bound to be serious, if still unclear, consequences from the breakdown b) The recent talks showed that there are significant differences within the group of developing countries just as there are among the rich countries c) A WTO background paper suggests that there could have been a meeting ground if all the parties had the will and conviction to move forward d) However, during the seven long years since its launch, the development aspects were often relegated to the background
Hope these were good

Fabio | Actually i am on to replace fabio here, or for that matter all the team members who are making such posts (including the captain)
When you guys have such a loser attitude, you guys should not forma part of the Dream Team
We are not a bunch of 99%iles, we never were, but the USP of our team was the zeal, the passion to prove ourselves, but with such an attitude, i think all we are asking for is symapthy. All of you guys might get sympathy, but for sure, you are not the most probable guy to crack CAT.
My take - Wont comment on whether to replace fabio or not, but from now onwards who ever makes such a post should be replaced, we are better off with 5-6 team members rather than with this loser attitude.
PS - No Pun intended
Cheers
MK

MK | Guys I guess u all never got the message I tried to convey. I was being sarcastic about the fact that I shud quit. What i actually meant was rather than cribbing about the fact that I shud quit cuz I ain't doing well I would rather stand up and justify my position in the team.
I don't wanna be a loser and take cushion about the fact that I wud pave the way for others into the team.
Do u all know something? We guys have topped the league in the 2nd week. And we never had a single 99%ilers. The point is not to have 99s but the point is we should not go down to those 30s or 40s. What I mean is forget about the team. Try to perform ur best (Same old crap) We need centuries in the finals n not in the match practices
It's a damn losers attitudde to come n post every monday that I can't score and wanna leave and bull crap. The point is you are never confident of the fact that u wud crack cat. No point blaming everything to fate. It's all about those 2.5 hrs and bull shi* like that. If its for those 2.5 hrs then y the hell do u have to waste ur 25 sundays? Go and sleep happily on ur couch. I think I respect Fabio's and Maverick's post. Fabio we wud have it ur way. If Fabio thinks he can do well off the team then we repect his decision. The day I feel this team is meddling with my preps I wud quit too
I dont care an a$*about who cracks cat, I want myself to see thru first and then the whole world damn it. Coach please step in and have a team shuffle. U are free to rethink on the captain's choice too. Though I wud always love to be a part of this team
Signing off,
Rungta
