when x = 0 , y = 7.5

when x = 15 , y = 0

so for every 2 times change in x , the value of y changes by 1..


so the eqn is y = 2x ------ (1)

the eqn of the circle is x^2 + y^2 = 20--- (2)

subs (1) in (2)

5x^2 = 20

x = 2


so point where the the line meet circle is (2,4)

the next integral point meet the line y = 7.5 - 0.5x

so the point is (3,6)

a = (3,6) b = (2,4)


using distance formula

ab =sqrt (4 + 1) = sqrt (5)


i guess its clear...

Me not registered in AIMCAT. Heard from one of my friends that i cannot register to AIMCATs if i am not a regular student. Is that true??

I have been a regular student 2 years back and had taken their AIMCATs too.
Can i use it to register??

TIME has a seperate program for AIMCATS and you can register for that. The classroom program includes the mock tests.

You can register for only for the AIMCATS for Rs 1950. Please contact the Time office for further details. Most of us here are registered only for the AIMCATS!
