Glad that many puys would make it to this session. I personally do not want any of u to miss out on this

And UDT or no UDT, Chennai DT team has to go on!! Don't see much posts and activity here at the moment!

What shall we do now for the next 10 days?? Guys can come up with their agendas and discuss it here. We can also try and formulate a common agenda apart from the personal timetables that guys may have set up for themselves. Lets have a granular agenda for now! A day by day schedule is what i mean!! Should make more sense this way!!

PS: I would also love if we do something like this. People can come up with the various set of problems that they are facing in trying to bell these mocks and WRT cat preps too! Lets try and find out the solution to each and every problem and fix them in time. Would appreciate if we can do this!! Cheers!!!

AIMCAT 6

DI - 85.92
QA - 92.2 (Clearing after a longggg time)
VA - 77.86 (Lost 20 marks as I marked the appropriate word instead of the inappropriate in that 4 mark set)

Overall - 91.74

Congos Maverick for getting selected in the UDT...
@Nishanth..very good nomination post in the UDT thread..

My plan is to take three sectional tests and one mock test every week, apart from the AIMCAT. And analyse them all.

I have successfully implemented this plan for the third day in a row. Took QA on monday, VA yesterday and DI just now. 45 mins for the test and another one hour for analysis. I plan to take a full length test tomorrow.

My theory is that if you look confident you can pull off anything - even if you have no clue what you're doing.

Same here!!

I would be taking CL Mock 8 tomorrow for sure. WIll try and start by 10.30 for a near simulation

My agenda so far for 2-3 weeks has been to take a live mock on Sunday and another mock on Wednesday/Thursday. This makes it 2 mocks a week which I'm gonna follow till the end. I fear burnout so would limit it to only 2 mocks.

For the next one week, I'm trying best to completely re-read and finish Arun SHarma's quant book. I'm half done with that! Aim is to only refresh all the concepts back again!! Makes me feel somewhat comfortable now!!

Rest of the plans after I crystallize this one

ATB for the test Balaji!!

@All Lets buckle up! It's the final lap! Lets not miss the finishing line this time! We have enough fuel left

Re: PG Premier League - Chennai Dream Team - 02-10-2008, 08:07 AM

my agenda is as follows..
currently have been doing sectional tests timed/untimed depending on my mood..4 days of holiday now..going to read through formulae and jot them down in a notebook.il be doing only formulae and revising concepts 1 week before CAT.do 3 mocks a week includint the one on sunday.will take an aimcat/simcat tomorrow morning..same time as CAT..10.30 to 1
also other than this will do concepts from other prev simcats/aimcats of yesteryears..will follow the same till 1 week before cat.will revise all the concepts in this 4 days ..

P.S : itl be useful if u guys can write the formulae in some paper and keep it for the last week..saves time and when u wite something it gets sealed in your mind

Hope it was useful

Following might help you

1) Try to complete work at office as early as possible. Don't waste even a single minute at work.

2) Try to make use of what ever time you get! That's more than enough. It's better to look at the half glass of water rather than the empty part

3) Utilize the time while commuting Eg : Take a test before starting to office and analyze it on the way or revise formulae etc., or best of all take the newspaper along with you and read it

Dont bother yourself too much that you are not able to prepare or work hard. As they say, all that matters is the 2.5 hours on that single day

Re: PG Premier League - Chennai Dream Team - 03-10-2008, 06:58 PM

took SIMCAT - 3 today.
got an OA of 99..missed the holy 3 digit figure by 1 mark
should be around 95 %tile is guess..finally!!!!!
VA - 47
QA - 26
DI - 26
missed QA cut off by 2 and DI by 8..
VA went well

@shwetha
i was facing the same prob sometime back.the thing is once u come back from office take a small sleep from 8 to 10 provided u wake up by 10
trust me it'll refresh u up and one more thing if your coming by the office bus do utilize the time in the bus by not studying but by sleeping ..but as krsh.vik says above if u feel u can study in the bus well fair enough!i was never comfortable studying in the bus and i come home and give 100 % in those 3 hrs..
at last is study from 10 to 1 or 10.30 to 1.30..since u go late to office it shudnt be a prob getting up the next morning..i leave home by 7.15 in the morning and come back by 8 sometimes, but i sit from 10 to 1 because that is when the city sleeps and most importantly the idiot box in my place is off after those teleserial with housewives crying ..most importantly enjoy the study time

P.S : My CAT application is accepted too
