Ya, long time no post from my side.
But this kind of paper is exactly wat i used to love. Speed being foremost and choosing questions being more important than being bull-headed.
The most important point in such a paper is how fast you can REJECT questions. Usually, one feels obligated to mark an option if one has spent some time pondering a question.. that is exactly what is to be avoided.
Also, speed does not mean not reading all the questions.. it means how fast you can read any individual question and decide not to answer it.
As for improvements here, one should generally try to answer the VA questions first in such a speed-based paper since the VA questions are less time-consuming than RCs..
Again, in quant, one should read all the questions because invariably, there wil be some sitters present which you will miss out in case you do not read all of them. This also has an effect of increasing ur accuracy levels since you should choose only those questions which you are confident about and won't spend much time on.
DI: this was traditionally my weakest section. I used to go for the graph based questions first rather than the LR ones since LR takes a lot of time usually, and one can never say whether one will be able to solve the set or not. Whereas, in graph-based questions, one can safely be sure that at least 70-80% accuracy will be there.
In case of further doubts, feel free to ping/irritate me as srikanth does
