Hi guys,

Me a newbie pagal . Had been a passive visitor for few days.
At last a place where i can start contributing.

Heres my nomination

Name : Venki

10th: 83 %
12th: 92 %
B.Tech: 80%

Work -ex: Nearly 2 years. I work in an IT Company in Chennai.

Took CAT 2006: 94.3 %ile
Skipped it last year and have planned to take it this year.

Have been taking IMS SIMCATS
SIMCAT 1: 85.13 %ile
SIMCAT 2: 91.63 %ile
The percentiles are definitely bound to increase.

Quants has always been my strong area and VA my Nemesis.

Willing to contribute in watever way i can.
Nominating myself as a team player.

Wens the next team meet???/

i second obsessed on his point for selecting captain..
so the obvious choice would be maverick since he is more known to the chennai junta and he seems to be anchoring the chennai dream team as well ..
he is also popular with the opposite sex
so no looking back..i hereby nominate maverick_srikant as captain ..i suggest the captain also be involved in the team selection..i mean the remaining 10 members

Well, first things is we got to select a deadline so that we wont consider nominations after it the deadline.

Second, selectors shouldnt get groans for not selecting a particular chennuy !!

Third, no threats or man handling me as ill be in chennai this month end ,and chuck is very safe in Ahemdabad.

FInally, what ever desicions is made by the selection committee is a combined descision of captain, chuck and me . So they are equally responsible as well.


Jokes apart,

1. Please PM when is the next mock so that I can decide, the deadline.

2. To all the chennuys, who filed there nominations, please edit your nomination post and add the test series you have joined.

3.Captain, please PM me the list, and any selector besides chuck.

Guys if all of us are fine with these options, then can i start a poll using these three options. With only 3 days to the deadline and we are running out of time, and hence i am of the opinion that we should choose pur team from one of the above mentioned.

If everyone has the same opinion kindly let me know, i can start the poll

Dai.. I'm not the captain and all.. RMBT sir, please choose a captain (pls disregard Ravi's suggestion )

And obsessed said you were his first choice in any case!

A polite suggestion to the selectiors - Please choose a captain with enough experince to motivate the team. I am a kid compared to the likes of many in the team! Also, I have no credentials to lead the team, so please select a captain from amongst Ravi, Obsessed, Indiana Jones and the rest of the team.

I would be glad to help out by sending you the list, but I leave the responsibility of choosing a worthy captain on the selectors!

Then finally do i start the poll with those 6 options or people have some other options too, coz its not easy to edit the polls and hence dont want any mess later on.

rmbt/ chuck - i have updated the list on the 1st post of the thread. I have given the links of all nominations posts there. I will PM you the list of nominees till date (though i am not the captain and no one even wants me as a capitain and i dont deserve to be a capitain too ) my nomination for captaincy goes to Indiana Jones as he has experience and a good track record. I agree with obsessed that captain should be known to the junta, but it wont take time for the captain to open up with people and hence my criteria for captaincy here would be the track record and experience.

Hence my vote goes to Indiana Jones

PS: If people want we can create a poll for selecting the captain with three options: Getintoiimb, maverick_srikan, Indiana Jones
