Hi Rohit....I think there is one little problem with the schedule you have chalked out....there are no mocks for CL students before 13th of july...So that leaves out the possibility of them being included in teams... please guide regarding this issue......Please clearify if they can be considered for the teams or not...

I am stressing on IT here as well as on Delhi thread. Coz while appearing for Mocks , people should have pressure of performing equally good in all sections (as required by CAT).

This I am telling by my last year's experience As better people(who had far better chances at IIM's) couldnt gather the place in DT Where as I did!!

Yes, it makes things complex . I will say, let the league run for few mocks and then we can always add/remove rules as the concept evolves.

I have mentioned earlier, if there are very few people taking 6th July mocks, we will push the schedule by one week. 6th July then can be considered as a try run ( reminds me of the try ball in cricket, which i used to love )

Please make your teams irrespective of the mock series. Selecting a team member based on his mock series is the last thing I will advise te teams to do. Concentrate on other qualities, like enthu, zeal, passion and how valuable that team member can be, for the whole team. Because in times of depression, people who can motivate the team are more important

No, I did not. Cos I thought you will find the answers yourself. Do it on paper, excel or by any means, you will find out. That's where Captain and coaches come into play. Strategy

I was just wondering if having different "Discussion" threads for each team would be a good idea? Specially because it is becoming increasingly chaotic on the "nominations" thread, and it'll become more difficult to analyze as the deadline approaches.

I think different threads are required ( no not for secret plans and such) but it restricts content to just one thread. And this chaos should clear up once the nominations are done with.

And the team would be put forth by the team captain - so there shouldnt be a problem with sifting through pages and pages of the nomination thread

As Rohit pointed out, its the attitude that matters. Sometimes a little bit of zeal and passion is more important than all the mock scores in the world.
We should Make ourself more visible on the thread apart from just posting your nomination, at the moment there are very few on the mumbai thread who are doing that
