Whatever happens, this remains a super idea and 'am looking forward to a wonderful PGPL. And be advised everyone, Hyderabadis won't be pushovers like the Chargers. | I will reiterate again, the purpose of this league is to help you prepare for CAT. A person may get illusions of success by performing in this league by tricky means, but ultimately it is the CAT day which will be meaningful in the end. If someone gets tempted to join a coaching institute just to have some advantage in the premier league, I will believe it is a case of shortsightedness and move on.
Moreover, I feel that by having a mix, this equanimity will be more or less panned out. The formula will take care of it. Try running some numbers in excel with the formula given and you will see it yourself.
@Diablo - You can be the coach of any team, provided -
1> You are able to take out time and guide others, which I do not think is possible in your 1st year of IIMS, but you are a better judge of that.
2> You should be able to attend few offline meets for the team at regular periods.
Cheers,

hey buddy i have one query.
since it is clear that every dream team will have 15 members.
and in each the captain has to publish the scores of top11 members in a mock.
my query is that in each team some people might have joine SIMCATs, AIMCATs,PracCats etc. etc.
so how do we arrive at a team score as the level of mocks might differ.
institutes are not bothering abt. this concept here.
now also assume that in a team of 15. 8 have joine AIMCAT'S, 7 have joined SIMCAT'S
so for any mock of any institute the captain will never have top11 scores in that mock. also SIMCATS and AIMCATS noth may not get conducted on some sunday. then in that case the captain will have only 8 or 7 percentile scores in the above case. so what will be done in such cases?? Anyway, just want to make it clear,
It is not the "top" scores of any mock. The captain will list down percentiles of his team, irrespective of test series ( SIM. AIM etc) and will pick the 11 he chooses. There are few conditions to this, which are mentioned in the first post of this thread.
OK, let me illustrate, percentiles of my team , ( assume team is of 6 people and i have to enter score of 4 , you can scale it to 11 out of 15 )
raja babu 98.56 AIMCAT
pandit jugalkishore 93.22 SIMCAT
maneatermartik 99.99 AIMCAT
adityafool 92.12 XYZ
maarav 56.43 Self-CAT
the_nousenomist 88.54 SIMCAT
So, irrespective of the series, I will publish scores of -
maneatermartik
raja babu
pandit jugalkishore
adityafool
provided they fulfill other criteria like not being part of score publishing for consecutive 3 times.
Cheers,
Rohit

hey mod...jus a few queries about the substitutions..
as per d formula..R1 and R11 for the first mock gotto b part of the second mock...
and a member cannot be part of score publishing team for 3 consecutive mocks...
my query is :
wot if d R1 and R11 of d 1st mock stay as R1 and R11 for the second mock too...then thy mus b included in the 3rd mock as well...so wot do we do der??
another query...jus cant figure it out..with 15 total members and of them 11 playing....isnt it imperative that der may b cases where more dan 1 member is der for 3 consecutive scores published....
and mreso d captain gotto field d best team for every match day...

Your query has already been answered by estranged_gnrs in the 3rd post of this thread ( here (PaGaLGuY Mock CATs Premier League))
You cannot be a part of 2 different teams.
I would request all to go through the first post by Rohit thoroughly and also the thread as most of the queries have already been answered, before posting further
Cheers!!!
