Pathetic score from my side:

QA : 5C 1w 9 marks
VA : 5C 7W 5 marks
DI : 10C 1W 28 marks

Total: 42

An eye opener for me.
I did not see Q38 ... the simplest one!!!

Congrats to all of you who scored good in this SIMCAT...

Tough time for me ahead...
What should be the strategy??? attemp maximum 3 markers?? because negative mark is -1 for both 3 markers and 2 markers??

i totally messed up di........last simcat i had got 71 and this time i am getting just 18!!!i agree a silly mistake in the 11-14 q set totally messed my section up.........dint take one case and ended up getting 3 of the 4 wrong.........those 3 would have made a difference of 12 marks!!anyway english i actually improved upon with 18 but still it could have been much better.............maths was en easy section especially the 2 markers..........most of those were sitters and got 33 in this section for a totaly of 69..........80 would have been a par score for this test.........

I made few horrible mistakes in quants.. cmpltly got fooled by question no. 5....

I hav a query...

I think the question no. 1 in DI section is wrong...cuz it was givn tht the CYLINDER was SOLID but its was nt mentioned whthr the cones were HOLLOW or SOLID....

So how can the answe be option 3... it shud be 5.....

Reached delhi centre at 9:45 thinking i am late but IMS mismanagement showed so early this season. No person from IMS was there to conduct the exam or guide the students.
After half an hour some person came shouting get into classes and there was random rush.Classes were without invigilators and than the test finally started at 10:40
Initial reaction after reading the instructions was 20 questions means go for accuracy than quantity.
Started with va my weakest.
attempted all non rc questions and than was able to complete last rc in time
it seemed like a very tough tough section.

moved to quant than and enjoyed doing 2 markers after completing 7 got over confident of getting a perfect score but than was ot able to do much and could do just 1 more 2marker and 3 more 3 markers

moved to di(my favorite) with around 50 minutes left
got into act straightaway and got all 3 markers in half an hour
again a perfect score passed my mind and than was unable to do much and could do just 2 more

in the end got 15 min to complete 1 more rc

after coming back home i find Va my nemesis winning over again

poor show in va should have scored 20+ atleast for a much better scoreline

polls should be out by now i think it should start from 40 with a gap of 5 marks in each poll option

i messed up;completely....
i was, until now, under the illusion that va is my strength... but it let me down... sigh!!
well... my (abysmal) score goes as follows...(though i din feel like posting it up here...nevertheless...)

qa: 24
total, hence: 38
i just hope that the performance shoots up the next time...
p.s.: this was the first test that i took... cud sum1 pls temme whether 'twas as difficult as simcat1...??

it wsn as difficult as simcat1. it ws pretty tougher .
nd ur scores rnt dat abysmally low also.u ve done a decent enuf job in QA this ws my 3rd mock nd m lyk screwed up completely.
