yeah shamingo...got it...saw d score.ma god..i did tis to myself too many easy question i over read n made silly mistakes. but i m bit prepared now n hav got gud idea. after all simcats are to prepare us for d main show rite....gearing up for next simcat

Hi puys,
Its strange that everybody understood the concept behind question 4 in DI, I feel the answer calculated by IMS is wrong, as they have calculated total unmet demand as 90 whereas it is 60... because this question doesn't talk about profit at all, and the table created is based on maximum profit...
So we can not say that airline will run only one flight between 3-5:59pm.

In this question unmet demand should arise because of the incapability of airline to serve, regardless of the fact whether that flight will make profit or not!

So if we take 2 flights in each direction between 3-5:59pm, the answer would be 0.944 =~ 0.95 (option 3)

Please please please reply to this query.

On second thought the whole question is wrong as CSI will be related to a particular scenario, but here nothing is talked about the motive of the airline!

One more doubt, Q7 in DI:

In the solution IMS has taken 4 trips in each direction, but why do we need 4 trips? Also, the question says the company plans to buy 2 new aircrafts but IMS has taken 4 new aircrafts (2 on each side)!!
Does anybody else recognize the discrepancy, according to me total demand each side is 360, so we need 3 flights in each direction (150 + 150 + 60)...

I am not getting any of the options as answer here!

Let me know, if I am wrong!

Hi,
I have a request to create two separate threads for each AIM/SIM/MOCK CAT, one where people can post there scores and other for discussions on questions, doubts, discrepancies etc.

That way junta will know where to look for scores and where to look for the doubts. In the current system many doubts remain unattended!

Also, the moderation should be strict i.e. nobody should be allowed to post scores in doubts thread and vice versa.

Please look into this issue.

quite quite true... though i did not attempt this one in the test, wen i came back home, i realized the discrepancy too...
