Hey All,
Had a Bad day with DI.Otherwise the rest is good.

Here are my scores::

QA -- 70
DI -- 32 (STUPID)
VA -- 40

OA -- 142

did anyone mention digging up a well....

donno why i couldnt manage to reflect this accuracy in di,qa in previous cat..
thought of clearing the cutoff in lang and started with it but lost it again...
being the 1st mock of the season, it was not bad, i guess...

Lukin at everybody's VA score i think i missed out badly.......Cudn manage time nd gt ony 8 marks in the fray......My total of 67 isnt tht grt bt 8 in VA seems SUcidal.......

Hello Puys,

I think that solutions for qs 41 and qs 47 in Quant given by TIME are wrong.
In qs 41, they ask the total time taken by Aashish. They have found that in stage 1, he takes 1 hr and in stage 2, he takes 5 hrs, so total = 6. They have marked the answer as 5 hrs which is wrong.
In qs 47, the qs clearly asks how many pts within and on the triangle have (x,y) integral values. TIME has found out only about the pts within the triangle and not ON the triangle. So acc to them, ans is 10 pts, but I think it shud b 21 pts.

Anyone else bummed into the same issues?

QA = 29 / 19 (depends on the above 2 questions)

dude for the triangle question
simply solve x-y <= 5 u wud get the answer.. n yah x and y are poitive integral

i think both the answers were right given in the time key...
in Q41 the time was constant, he ran with speed s during the 1st hr and speed 1.25s during the next 4hrs covering more distance than what he intended to travel ... so the total time is 5hrs

in Q47, u cannot count the points that lies on both x and y axis being 0 - nonpositive, but u can count points on the line joining (0,5) and (5,0),
that makes it 4+3+2+1 accordingly on the lines ||el to x axis

Don't hv my paper with me right now...but i perfectly remember that they had asked for positive integral points in 47th question....
As far as 41st question goes...will get back to u when i hv my paper

For 47 one zero is not considered as a positive no. it is a non negative no. dat ways the ans comes to b 10. did not c 42.
