The AIMCAT 0919 just ended today...seemed to be a satisfactory paper overall....

My scores -
DI- 31.00, VA - 28, QA- 39.... overall= 98.00.....bad in verbal ...

Discuss about the paper, questions, the difficulty level, and if possible then do write the solution which u have for a question and is easier than given by TIME........Thanks In Advance...

MODS AND FELLOW PUYS- I haven't mentioned the AIMCAT No. in the thread title,,, as till last yr, we had different threads for different Aimcats, ,,but in my opinion if we make a single repository, then it will be better....Any ideas welcome.....

I appreciate ur concern opening a new thread for AIMCAT 019..

I wonder how were u able to write it on Saturday itself.

Most of the junta would be writing the same only tomo i.e. Sunday.

U may not realise but u might have spoiled the party for most of the serious takers for tomorrow (which includes me as well). Good u open a thread but u cud have been considerate enough to reveal ur scores tomorrow after the AIMCAT got over.

Point is not to demean or discourage u. But the forum understandably doesn't allow such happenings. Please be careful next time buddy

I again emphasise.. This is not to discourage u. But u shud have realised these subtle points.

On ur suggestion of opening jus one AIMCAT thread.. U think its possible??

Sorry again.. The polls attached with every AIMCAT WRT the scores and attempts are very useful and go in a long way to determine where puys stand vis-a-vis their peers...

So, we all hope, its a better show next time around..

A snap-shot of the backlash that may follow for this thread. I am not trying to scare anyone here. But please try and understand that it is highly incorrect and unethical to mention the attempts, pattern etc before the real majority of the country has taken a test. It simply doesn't allow the people giving the test on Sunday to give it with an open mind.

And with respect to maintaining a single thread for all the mocks, don't you think everything would simply be messed up - the attempt patterns, the scores, the strategies. Also, you can have only a single poll per thread. Hence, the idea of a single thread for all the mocks is not really very helpful . If you notice in the threads for last year, the TIME mock threads were among the best . There was a reason for that. I don't think i need to explain that reason . Generally, the threads started last year were very organized and disciplined. I hope that can bettered this year Also, with the thread starter lies the responsibility of the starting the poll at the right time, which i hope you do understand.

Its good that you haven't started the poll yet. Please don't start it until tomorrow. Otherwise it results in umpteen issues.

I request all of you to take this post in a positive way

Well i can say that thebornattitude just jumped the gun may be coz of excitement as the AIMCAT has already been conducted in Noida centre today only and i being one of the takers of this test..

I wish all my puys taking this test All the best... Will be updating my scores and attempts tomorrow morning...

even i have taken the test today but will post my scores only after tommorrow evening with all othere puys.

Actually, TIME here told me that the test is scheduled for today for all centres...didnt knew about it.........guess all centres at noida is wat they meant.....

I apologize for my mistake....though I hope you all understand that my intentions were not to dump nebody's flow to the exam.....just had some points,,,,like-

1) First I meant that, for having one thread,, I meant having one common place for keeping best of the questions which TIME paper delivers.....its very difficult for newbies to find each and every thread of AIMCAT to get the previous questions
2) I also meant to compare the papers at one level,, so that we can judge the change in difficulty level of the papers here.....

Got two 'groans' also for my bad though innocent attemp......
Being an experienced CAT taker for 2 yrs now, and a regular pg'ite,,,I have always encouraged 'majority rules' funda.......so puys,,,,, cheer up,,, dn worry,, u all will score well even if i dumped it .....

Hey guys, I am planning to take the TIME AIMCAT test series. At the bhubaneswar center, they said it will cost Rs. 4500. Jus wanted to know if its the same all over India, or are they overcharging us. Coz other instis charge Rs. 1500-2500 for their test series.

Ideally an AIMCAT thread shouldn't be started on Saturday, but even if someone inadvertently starts one I think the people who are giving a mock on Sunday can actually have that much self-restrain to not actually click on the thread and read the posts until they give the mock.

Its not that difficult. Is it? And its not an ideal world anyway
