hi,
was quite amazed to see the mock as AIMCAT920...
i was told earlier that it will be just a scholarship test...
but the turnout was good...i suppose...
my center's staff had some confusion about the marking of ovals with ball pens or pencils, as many had started with ball pens itself...they were given other OMR to replace the previous ones...
that took 2-3 minutes in the test time...
rest was fine...
as i m taking the AIMCATs for the first time, i'd not be able to comment on the level of the test...but i felt it was quite solvable...
will post the analysis and score later...

It's mock season already.. feeling nostalgic, was part of this for 4 yrs. Not that I am complaining , but yes, Mock CATs had become a part of life almost.

A very bad start as far as i am concerned..
Maybe it was because of the lack of touch after CAT'07.

Quite a poor performance on my side considering the two scores above...but i guess its ok given that i have zero prep rite now. took this as a diagnostic CAT. my scores :
QA - 24 (7C-4W)
DI - 27 (8C-5W)
VA - 20 (6C-4W)
i guess i wont b clearing cutoffs in any of the sections  . Overall i felt the paper was quite balanced one. I didnt even read the RCs..did only parajumbles and others in VA. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to alexkol For This Useful Post: | | | | | |

Your DI looks safe as per my judgement, VA might be borderline. ( generally TIME mentions low cut offs in its analysis)
I dint check my score yet, will do a bit of analysis myelf and then post.
Hope the TIME analysis comes out soon.

A not so satisfying performance as the paper was on expected lines.Would have liked to score abt 30 more marks.Dint have proper time management too.Moreover I find myself stuck around a total attempt of 50 qns.Would like to see tht go to 60.Overall a performance worse than that in AIMCAT 0820 last yr.Scores are:
QA 76(19R)
DI 52(14R 4W)
VA 22(7R 6W)
Total 150
Dint find any surprise element in the paper.para completions and parajumbles were tough.the 1st RC was an easy pick.QA and Di were quite easy.Easier for ppl who had taken TIME last yr.I would be taking the free mock in July next.By tht time I hope to change my strategy otherwise I m gonna see a repetition of my results last yr.
CAT2007 99.70(QA=99.77,DI=97.41,VA=93.94)
