Clarification required, regarding OBC quota implementation - 16-05-2008, 11:04 PM

Before asking my query I kindly request everyone not to use this thread to discuss whether obc quota is necessary or not.
I am starting this because there are few candidates including me who are not knowing or not able to comprehend what s happening. So people who understand the current situation kindly help us please.
To start with I am a OBC candidate who got admission in nitie through obc quota.
I have other calls too but i want to join nitie.
Now my problem is can I take back my admission from the other college and resign from my job.
In todays sc statement it said that the institutions can go ahead and implement the quotas but the admission is provisional.
what does the word provisional means? Depending on the hearing in the future they will take back the admission or candidates who fail to prove their non creamy status will not be given admission.
what does the word provisional stands for?
only after getting an answer for this question i will be able to resign from my job and also withdraw my admission from the other college.
Kindly help me and other similar candidates who are having this problem.
