My waitlist no. is 272.
So no hopes as far as this year is concerned.

my waiting is 66 and will join if i get thru...
does anyone have any idea how many pl have been waitlisted..the last waiting that i know of is 288..that could give us an idea of where we stand ..
assuming 100-200 ppl have been rejected + 300-350 ppl on the waitlist = 400 - 550ppl

total no. of calls (gd/pi) = 1247

waitlist starts after 1247 - (400 or 550) = 847 to 697 calls

last year 180 seats = 725 rank* getting through
this year for 240 seats atleast 825 rank shld get thru...

*rank = calls in the first list + w/l no.

any comments corrections are welcome

does anyone have ne idea about the number of confirmed calls given out by Indore this year......
will make the picture a bit more clearer......seniors any comments ??

CAT 2006 - 99.33
Calls - ACLIK ......... ACL rejected
IK waitlisted but not converted

Back with a bang
CAT 2007 - 99.64
Calls - I and MDI
I - waiting #35
MDI converted.

dude, all 240 seats are not for the general candidates - you forgot to put that into your analysis

Here is some news connected to the OBC reservations.

"Calcutta High Court on Wednesday stayed the union HRD ministry’s memorandum on 27 per cent OBC quota in postgraduate courses in centrally run institutions.
The interim order means that IIMs, IITs and all central institutions offering postgraduate courses will not be able to go ahead with the quota in these courses...."

Calcutta HC stays OBC quota at PG level, Centre to appeal- Hindustan Times

The latest news on the OBC quota is that the SC is gonna hear the case today...
