* The admission is provisional in case of OBC Candidates who needs to submit the OBC Certificate, the format of the same is being sent to the candidate along with the admission offer letter.

is also mentioned in the website

cant make head or tail of it..

is it to prove noncreamy layer status?? logically it cannot be since i ve already given my salary figures that show i m indeed creamy

It's like a dream coming true for me to post in this thread..

after a wait of 3 looong years, I ll be joining an IIM..

Calls - L & I - both converted
B.E. Computers, IET(DAVV), Indore - 2005 passout.
Worked with Kanbay for 2 years.
Currently working with JP Morgan for the last 9 months.

i was called in GEN category..am an OBC creamy layer candidate..
The admission offer look like this

You have been selected for admission to PGP 2008-2010 batch at IIM Lucknow.
Formal admission letter is being sent by Speed Post. You will have to send us your formal written acceptance on the prescribed form enclosing a Demand Draft of Rs.50,000/- drawn in favour of `IIM Lucknow' payable at Lucknow, so as to reach us latest by May 19, 2008. Failure of this will be construed as withdrawal of the candidature, and the right of Admission will be forfeited.

Is this OBC certificate jus to prove i m OBC...or else creamy/non creamy..

Hey puys,

cudnt find anywhere the actual date of the commencement of classes...one of my frns told me that usually its somewhere June end..

The preparatory classes will start from 12th June as per the acceptance form attached along with the result..

any ideas???
