IIMK PGDM 2008-10 - Queries and Discussions

Hi,
I got waitlisted at 17. Please tell me the waitlist movement of year before last since there was no movement last year.
Now that the confirmed call getters have to submit the fees by May 19th, does it mean I will have to wait till then to know my admission status. Where will I be able to track the wlist movement.

the criterion for the laterals depends on your batch, i.e. if your batch is fresher heavy then the laterals criterion might be very less etc etc. Unfortunately, not too much information can be given on this matter.. Please contact profootball on a PM in case you want to know this info (since he is perenially on PG)

And anyways, in case you have planned to join any B-skool, you would have to quit your job right??

Let us have an approximate idea of the number of calls given out this year.. It is only then when we can make any conjectures about the movement of the waitlist!

including the Company ( they usually accept 20-23 also, as most ppl join late/ leave early )

If IT work-exp won't be taken into account for laterals then I will quit asap. - It will be taken into account , but 21.5 is fine ... i suggest you resign asap

My Batch , the fees was around 3.9 L ... we worked out expenses for about 5 L for a Bank Loan ( The Loan could be extended till 7.5 Lakhs based on individual needs )

As I did not take the Bank Loan and my dad sources my fees , I Dont bother much about the expenses


Taking the fee hike at 6 Lakhs, you can be safe to assume you would be spending arnd 7 lakhs total during your MBA
