Hi.
First of all commiserations on the result. I really pray that you do make into a college aside of IIMC of your choice.
But, at this juncture, neither me nor you are qualified to comment on the admission status of any category student at IIM Calcutta. So, its my request to you to exercise restraint.
Regards,
Sunil

My percentile is enough to clear IIMB in general category
IIMC has 40% weightage for CAT Score.
Final Result: Not even waitlisted for PGDM and PGDCM course.
Seniors-----I am sure from the bottom of my heart that they are leaving the seats empty :(:(

Regarding Waitlisters at IIM Calcutta:
They do not declare WL numbers at IIMC. You will be intimated on the specified date about your waitlist movement.
In fact, the last two years didnt even see a declaration of the presence of a waitlist. People were called up and asked to join. I think this has happened because of the large number of common calls between A and C.

What are total no of seats for PGDM this year, category wise? I've been waitlisted in gen category. I called them up, they said 7% of seats have been waitlisted. I dont know if it is good news for me.

Hi Everyone
I have converted my C call and have been offered admission to PGDM. I have a question, might seem a bit silly, and I apologize for that, but would be really grateful if someone answered.
Is a laptop essential for the course? Or would a desktop do?
If a laptop is essential, what is the minimum config. requirements?
Cheers to all who converted C calls.

Hi,
I have converted PGDCM. I wanted to know whether the PGDCM are eligible for all placements or some companies are strict about the PGDM requirement.

last year we were asked to send a dd of Rs. 50,000. this year the sum will definitely be more
as far as loans are concerned, no need to worry bout that. when u join iimc there'll be banks lined up for you and u just need to sign at the dotted line, it'll be that simple
moreover the rates will be pretty low as well
(last year they were 10.75% by sbi and 10.25% by pnb)
You are what u are, don't try to become someone else
