IIM-C says "We are not releasing our wait-list as we have recd acceptances as per our requirement from our Prime List."

A has wl movement upto 40 and B upto 20. Can any seniors tell what the chances of conversion are? When next will we come to know of wl movement, if any?

I have converted my A waitlist, and therefore leaving C, and I know of 2 more such persons, so may be C waitlist will move a bit, ATB

I mailed IIM-C and that's the reply I got. A and B waitlist status are there on their respective waitlist thread. A waitlist cleared till 45 i believe..

I too have cleared the A waitlist & will be leaving C

had already sent my acceptance money to C

so definitely there should be some moveemnt in the WL of C

no its not necessary that there shd be waitlist movement since some guys are opting for A and B..coz it might be a case where more people have accepted..then the actual seats at C from the prime list....so IIMC may not call any one either....just keep this in mind..ATB wait listers...

I know atleast two people who suffered a lot due to this laptop bulkdeal. You dont get good support and the configurations you get are pretty ordinary. I bought a laptop on my own and I got a better config at a lower price.

As far as suits are concerned, that guy will have only one color and the discount hardly matters. I think it is better to buy your suit in your respective cities and bring it to the campus.

@dress code

There is no dress code for classes..you can wear anything u want as long as it is acceptable in India. You would see many people turning up to classes in boxers.

Also, people wearing boxers to class is just wrong in any part of the world!

I am afraid I didn't note the bit about attesting (self or otherwise) of the offer letter. I sent it in a long time back. Hopefully I'll be able to do that bit once I get there

Any seniors know if I'd need to maybe take a printout, fill it up again and send it referencing my dd number and stuff? Cheers and thanks in advance

As a suggestion please call up the admissions office and ask them about this.... at times they can be real sticklers about petty things and may put you in a little worry

so call up, tell them the problem and ask them what you can do

hey i also committed the same mistake last year, but they didn't make ny fuss, rather were very helpful. So don't worry. Just make sure you have all your documents at the time of admission
