could any seniors tell me, when IIMB said it gave 49 extra final calls to account for 137 candidates who have offers from other IIMs, they meant final offers or gdpi calls? So do IIMs share their admit lists with each other before making them public so as to decide buffer calls and waitlists?

I too got the admission kit today.
hoping to see you all there.....

@seniors,
just a small doubt, how will the hostel rooms be alloted - the admission letter says that we can avail it from jun 21st. but the course begins on 23rd.
is there any spl advantage by coming on 21st to get room or it doesnot make difference. i mean like getting a room in ground floor like that..

@seniors, could you throw some light on the prep course?{admin notification says 3 weeks of prep course and only mess charges.thats all about it....} the things i'd like to know:
why do they ask you to attend the prep course?
and what is taught in prep course?
is it mandatory?

ya even i want to know abt the hostel room allocation.. if there is any advantage in comin on 21st then i ll definetely be there...
n one more thing is it better to have the rooms in the grnd floor or in the first floor
